Purpose of the Audio/Visual Team Ministry
The Audio Visual Team Member serves uniquely by performing all audio, visual and lighting aspects of Worship Services, special meetings, plays, weddings and other special events..
Talents/Abilities Needed
- Enjoys edifying the church and building up people's faith by serving behind the scenes in the Audio Visual Department
- Has an understanding of basic sound concepts
- Has an understanding of computers
- Understands the importance of excellence, professionalism and serving in an unobtrusive manner
- Able to work within a team setting
- Ability to multitask
- Has a passion For Strengthening the Body of Christ through the reverential and professional service preformed behind the scenes handling the technical (audio and visual) aspects of a Worship Service
Responsibilities/Duties
- Stage setup prior to events
- Stage tear down after events
- Prepare and present PowerPoint slides for worship service
- Coordinate sound with the Worship Team to prepare them to lead us in worship
- Operate the sound board
- Operate the lighting console
Anticipated Time committment
- 6-8 hours a month for Worship Services
- Additional time required for handling A/V responsibilities for special events
- Participating in meetings/training: As needed
